Barbara Mori Ochoa is dubting in Bollywood with Anurag Basu's Kites opposite Hrithik Roshan.
The 30-year old beauty is of Uruguayan-Japanese and Mexican heritage (her Japanese ancestry is from her paternal grandfather) and has a son with actor, Sergio Mayer. The two never married.
Barbara Mori left her job as a waitress at the age of 14 when fashion designer Marcos Toledo invited her to work as a model.
Since then, Barbara Mori hasn't look back. From modelling, she moved to television, where she played the title character in a remake of the telenovela Rubi in 2004. She also won an award for Best New Actress for her
role in a comedy series, Mirada de mujer.
The actress branched off to films in 2000 with the Mexican comedy Inspiracion. Five years later, the actress got a starring role in the blockbuster film La mujer de mi hermano opposite Christian Meier.
Kites will be shot in New Mexico, Las Vegas and Los Angeles and is scheduled to go on the floors by the end of July.
Mori was diagnosed with early stage cancer, and is now a proud survivor, something that will be shown in a documentary about cancer survivors also featuring Kelly McGillis and Lisa Ray.
