One of the most anticipated films Delhi Belly released today.  It can be said that hard work of Aamir Khan and his unique promotional strategies have helped the film to gain the viewers attention. Delhi belly is definitely a dark comedy. The film contradicts Aamir’s clean image in the past few years.

The plot revolves around three Tashi [Imran Khan], Arup [Vir Das] and Nitin [Kunal Roy Kapur] -- flat mates, buddies and partners in crime. Tashi gets a surprise when he knows that he will get married to Sonia (Shehnaz Treasury) in a month. Arun plays a cartoonist who gets annoyed by his boss and gets dumped by his girlfriend. Eating junk food from the street vendor proves incredibly bizarre for Nitin- the funniest character in the film.

The three regular guys leading a normal life finds themselves in trouble when they witness wired situations with a criminal Vijay Raaz.

The story has been dealt in a simple manner. The twists and turns have been handled very well. The first half depicts new and fresh humor with a rib ticking comedy. The simple locations help the audience to identify the film and makes story look interesting and realistic.

As far as the performances are concerned the chemistry among the male actors is visible on screen. Imran acts confidently, Vir Das has excellent comic timing which leaves audience laugh to the core, whereas Kunal Roy Kapur is the show stealer. Among the ladies Shehnaz acts well and Poorna Jagannathan is superb and gets into role completely with her wacky hairdo. Vijay Raaz is outstanding and Paresh Ganthala proves comedy is his genre in a minuscule role.

Director Abhinay Deo has writer Akshat Verma have done a remarkable job. Abhinay managed to let the starcast give their best performance

in simple and humorous situations. The film is aimed at youth section which will quickly identify with the adult humor. The surprise package of the film is its story which takes many twists and turns. The audience gets a surprise with each and every scene and the reactions of the actors. The songs have been placed according to the situation which keeps the film on track. The humor and expletives is directly on the face which is the plus point of the film. The film is majorly in English and the dialogues are well written which easily conveys the message.

Music by Ram Sampat has also become the talk of the town. Bhag D K Bose has become a youth Anthem, and Jaa Chudail, Bedardi Raja. I Hate You, Like I Love You, have rocked the musical countdown everywhere. The end credits where Aamir Khan appears as an item boy marks the actor’s tribute to the disco era and is definitely worth a wait till.

The movie has surely acquired a cult status. As it is an Aamir Khan Production, it will inspire many filmmakers to explore the sex comedy genre. Infact it has been rightly mentioned in the promos by Aamir Khan that the film has an adult language usage. It means that the actor had already conveyed the message that the films target audience is youth. It is not for family audience or people who are sensitive with adult humor. The young audience will more identify with the film as there is free flowing of expletives which happens in day to day life.

It has been rightly captioned as shit happens as the film is humerous, there is never a dull moment. Delhi Belly will not only tickle you around your belly but also make you laugh whole heartedly.

indeed a path breaking movie...albeit not for ones with sensitve constitutions and weak stomachs...such people should stick to watching karan johar romcoms or south style action movies...for those who dare to watch something different, this movie literally takes ur breath away...it is so captivating with situations piling on top of one another...and the end leaves u gasping for breath, eyes filled with mirthful tears !!!
