Vidya Balan’s  Dirty Picture, is a film on the life of Silk Smitha, yesteryear sex bomb of Tamil cinema. The amount of preparation Vidya is undertaking for this role is truly amazing. She is busy shooting and has hardly any time to spare but she has still taken up Salsa lessons although

it won’t actually be needed for the movie.

The Latin-American dance form is renowned for its sexy moves and sinuous sensuality. Vidya feels that it will help her perfect her body language for the role and capture the smoldering sexuality that made Silk Smitha so potently smoking on the big screen.
