Pappu Can't Dance Saala

Rating- 2/10

Direction:
Director Saurabh Shukla tries to get the best out of his actors, but a poor storyline hides the intention. The dragged second half and an immensely predictable story, doesn’t allow the director to create any strong emotional or serious moments. His effort of trying to induce all emotions, at times, create a chaos within the characters.

Acting:
Vinay Pathak is known to play the common man to perfection, be it in Chalo Dilli or Utt Pataang. The actor has always enthralled his fans, but this time, he fails to tickle the funny bone. The dull storyline can also be a reason for the same, as an overdose of anything is not pleasant.  Neha Dhupia steals the show and comes across as a confident actor. Rajat Kapoor, as always makes his presence felt, Naseeruddin Shah is wasted and Sanjay Mishra doesn’t get much scope. The chemistry between Neha and Vinay is

pleasing in parts.

Script:
The story revolves around Vidyadhar Acharya (Vinay Pathak), who has just shifted from Benares to Mumbai and Mehak Malavde (Neha Dhupia), who is a chorus dancer and knows how to survive in the city of dreams. Mahek and Vidyadhar are neighbours and later due to unavoidable circumstances, they turn roommates. Pappu Can’t Dance Saala is all about how two people who can’t stand each other, manage to deal with the situation and how their journey begins to unfold in a rather interesting fashion.

The story is way too predictable and dragged sequences further take away the zeal from it. There are moments which showcase emotions, but all of it seems repetitive and Pappu Can't Dance Saala fails to differ. Though all the performances are commendable, the repetitiveness makes it a boring affair.

Verdict:
And, the final word- you won't miss much if you miss this one.

Your review is so confusing...your statements are contradicting themselves...for example, in one place u write "unfold in a rather interesting fashion" and then immediately "way too predictable". It seems that either your english is poor or you are also confused !!!
