BUMBOO is based on a original story L’Emmerduer written by Francis Veber  ( French writer & director with brilliant films like A DINNER GAME  ( Indian version  : Bheja Fry  )  , VALET etc. The film when launched in France first time created a history of sorts with its box office success and is considered a comedy classic in France even today.

BUMBOO is a story based on the idea that in this life we all meet someone who comes and screws it all up (ya phir jisko bambiyaa bhashaa mai hum Vaat lagna kehte hai). Each character in the film screws someones happiness which create extremely humourous situations and rib tickling comedy.

Everyone knows him as the “funny guy” in the Sprite commercial but what not many people know is that Kavin Dave has bagged the lead role in the film Bumboo. Bumboo is the official adaptation of the French film

TFI International, France is the associate producer for this film and it is the first ever official Indo – French co – operations as a remake of a French film.
