Wedding season never ends in Bollywood, and sometime it turns into interesting sessions of 'making or breaking' of relationship(s). One such assembly of happenings comes alive in JODI BREAKERS. After the super-surprise success of musically enriched TANU WEDS MANU, actor R.Madhavan gets a new lease of life as a solo-hero in B-town, and returns with this frothy comic-caper. Salim-Suleiman, a tuneful Jodi associated with recent pack of multiplex friendly romantic musicals (BAND BAAJA BAARAAT, LOVE BREAKUPS ZINDAGI and LADIES V/S RICKY BAHL), lead the musical bandwagon along with the support of reliable lyricists Irshad Kamil and Shabbir Ahmed. Expectations...yes, indeed soaring high this time as now the music has been catching fast on all media circuits, all thanks to generous promotions, bankable face-value and laudable production design. Can we expect a chartbusting treat from the reliable ''jodi'' of Salim-Suleiman? Will they make it this time? Let's get started by plugging on 'play' button...
Auspicious martial bliss musical thrives, comprising mainly of tuneful ''shehnai'' works, delivering out spells of dancing 'masti' on floors, sets off a trendy musical pedestal for the album and flick in the introductory track ''Kunwara''. Fresh from the success of BAND BAAJA BAARAT, composer duo Salim-Suleiman try to rejuvenate the 'shaadi' festive season with trendy DJ stylized madness with a strong traditional orchestral base. As per the decorum and loud rhythmical feel, it reminds of tracks like ''Om Mangalam'' (KAMBAKHT ISHQ), exuding out the escapades of a joyous 'bachelorhood'. Salim Merchant's smooth toned voice sings out this 'anthem of bachelorhood' with
zest and flair and makes this an entertaining fair. Well suited for the DJ stylized marriage parties, it comes out as a worthy outing for urbane listeners too; a well groomed 'club-remix'' in the credits would have been surely added fuel to the fire. Amusing!!!
Femme Fatale magic grips! Sultry vocal oomph, captivating lyrics and funky rhythmical patterns with the catch-word ''Bipasha'', flaring out like wildfire on floors, comes like another probable hit ''item-number'' in pulsating sounding ''Bipasha''.
Shraddha Pandit's sensuously crooned voice is the lovable delight that enamors from the first beat and takes the show to the desired dizzy heights. It starts off with a strong folksy South-Korean rhythmical feel (somewhat like ''Zara Zara Touch Me'' (RACE)) but later comes more like a fusion of Arabic cum westernized pop-rock funk. Conceived to lure passionate Bipasha Basu fans worldwide, it promotes and glamorizes this diva (just like ''Bebo'' (KAMBAKKHT ISHQ did for Kareena) with bagful of catchy one-liners, with added ''qawwali'' back-up vocal support of Shadab Faridi. Like Neha Bhasin likable vociferous flows in ''Dhunki'' (MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN), Shraddha Pandit's rockstar performance is the brightest highlight and should be one big factor in making this as a probable chartbuster hit. Extra madness, ''masti'' and fun is enthralled in its ''remix'' version, a highly exhilarated DJ work that is likely to be hitting high and loud in discotheques. Shraddha's immensely svelte is well-echoed in prolific sound engineering moves and connects explosively with fast-paced tempo and funky beats. Go for it!!!
