Few years Scarlett Keeling was sexually assaulted and left to die on 18th February 2008 in Goa. Producer Sikander A Khan is releasing his film “ANJUNAA BEACH” on 24th Feb 2012 as a tribute to late Scarlett, where in her mother will also be attending the event.
Based on this incident Producer Sikander A Khan, and writer director Shakeel S Saifee have completed a feature film "ANJUNAA BEACH:" which is on release now.
Scarlett Keeling, 15, was sexually assaulted and left to die at Anjuna beach on February 18, 2008, allegedly by two beach shack
workers. The police had initially dismissed the case as death due to drowning, but after her mother alleged foul play, the case was transferred to the CBI. When contacted, CBI officers refused to comment.
Producer Sikander and Director Shakeel were having proper permission to shot this film in original location of Goa but in last moment Govt of Goa refused to allow them to shoot in Goa as with this film there weak points will come in public, however both Producer and Director somehow managed to complete their film on original location.
